This week I’m working on being BRAVE!
On Saturday I speak to a group of women for the first time in a year, and THIS is an important part of the message my heart is bursting to share:
How fun it was making this graphic illustration! (I need to add CREATE to the message)
You can be BRAVE this week too!
Share your story. Dance. Wear red shoes. Love messy. Color life beautiful. Create.
Live open-hearted.
Praying for you, BRAVE one.
hey linda lou
okay, it’s ALL there for me in one hyphenated word. OPEN-HEARTED. if i meditate on that word, worlds of wisdom begin spinning to orbit around my head which is filled with honed skills of denial and dread and fear. gee, i can’t imagine where THOSE thoughts came from . . . . (ha!) straight from hell, of course.
no wonder god talks so much about the heart.

GREAT MESSAGE! LINDA, HAVE YOU EVER READ THE ALLEGORY, HINDS’ FEET ON HIGH PLACES BY HANNAH HURNARD?
It is the story of a young woman named Much Afraid, and her journey away from her Fearing family and into the High Places of the Shepherd, guided by her two companions Sorrow and Suffering. It is an allegory of a Christian devotional life from salvation through maturity… WIKIPEDIA
Nin, thanks so much for reminding me of that story! I read it many years ago, but I think it would be a good time to read it again. Bless you brave one!
Feeling discouraged over my first book…scared, anxious, and every other emotion there is. Then I get this message from a reader “thanks for inspiring courage”. Now I understand that living (and writing) open-hearted IS being brave. ~big sigh~ Love the encouragement and don’t stop praying for us!
Way to be BRAVE! We are kindred spirits friend–I have been writing my memoir for 4 years, and it has certainly been a journey of learning to live open-hearted. There is no bravery without the fear is there?
Your story matters. We need you, we need your story, your words, and your beautiful open heart. I will keep praying for you! Carry on brave one!
Love the graphic! It’s beautiful and challenges me to put my “fraidy cat” tendency aside!
Desiring to live “open-hearted” for Him!
You just did live open-hearted! Thank you for sharing words of affirmation and love, you bless me. Praying for you to be BRAVE and share your beautiful open-heart with us out here in this big scary world. We need you! : )
You are braver than I……have fun!
Haha! As a recovering fraidy-cat, I’m sure you are way braver than me in other ways! 🙂
:o)
Love how God sends hope through friends whose hearts beat the same as mine…
Being brave with you this week, my friend. -M
Blessed to share this journey with brave and open-hearted living friends Mick. Praying for you. Speak brave. We so need you to. 🙂
